Welcome to SMR Business Day 2025: Securing Industrial Development Through New Nuclear Energy

The global energy transition is not just a challenge; it is the most pressing opportunity of our time. To succeed, we need persistent, bold action. Countries and companies alike are racing to secure their place in the sustainable future economy, and the decisions we make today will define the business environment for decades to come.

At the heart of this transition lies a critical question: How can we collaborate across sectors — economic, policy, and innovation leadership — to ensure a realistic and effective rollout of next-generation industrial solutions?

WHAT?

SMR Business Day offers a comprehensive platform to explore the opportunities, challenges, and advancements surrounding small modular reactors (SMRs). This program brings together leaders, government representatives, industry pioneers, and financial experts to discuss the critical pathways to scaling nuclear energy for a sustainable future.

Throughout the day, we will dive into key topics such as financing new nuclear projects, innovations in district heating, regional developments, and regulatory updates. Engaging keynote presentations, interactive panel discussions, and networking opportunities will equip participants with valuable insights and connections to advance the SMR agenda.

Join us in shaping a pathway to tripling nuclear capacity by 2050 and unlocking the full potential of safe, clean, reliable, and flexible nuclear energy solutions.

TO WHOM?

This event brings together the industry and policy leaders to explore the pivotal role of new-build nuclear energy in driving the next wave of economic development. Nuclear energy has the potential to be a cornerstone in powering industries of the future, but it will require vision, strategic collaboration, and innovative approaches to business and financing.
