NUCLEAR INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION OF UAE AND FINLAND – SEMINAR AND NETWORKING
6 June 2023, 9:00-16:30
Place: Business Finland, Helsinki
UAE and Finland signed a memorandum of understanding on the
cooperation in the field of energy in 2022. As the operator of the newly
built Barakah nuclear power plant units, Nawah Energy Company is
strengthening the industrial base for the operation and maintenance of
nuclear power plants in the UAE. Finland, with over 40 years of
experience in the use of nuclear power, can offer a range of expertise in
order to support their pursuit.
This seminar and discussion event is a part of the study visit in Finland
where UAE delegates will gain insight on the outage and maintenance
practices, and on the industrial development, both essentially
contributing to the safe, high performance and long-term operation of
NPPs. Participants from Finland will gain information about the
business opportunities and practicalities of the UAE nuclear market.
This exchange promotes industrial cooperation between the countries.
The seminar is organized by FinNuclear in cooperation with
Business Finland and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and
